The French Institute of Archaeological Excavations brought about a geyser in the streets of Reykjavik (Iceland). In doing so, the researchers awoke a Giant who had been sleeping for hundreds of years under the city’s main road. This Giant immediately took it out on the vehicles in the city, crushing and tearing them to pieces whilst wildly stabbing them with oversized knife and fork.

The geyser of Reykjavik
This creation was presented from 11 to 13 May 2007 in Reykjavik in Iceland at the invitation of the Reykjavik Arts Festival and created especially for the celebrations of the closing of the French artistic season in Iceland - 50 000 spectators.
The authorities sent for the Giant's daughter, named Little Girl-Giant, to reassure the public. She stayed in the city for two days to try to coax her father out. He appeared in a huge chariot pulled along the streets. As they were approaching the port, the Little Girl Giant cut off her father’s head and threw it into the water.
