A three months artistic residency from April to June, during which Royal de Luxe settled in a Chinese troglodyte village in Guan Cun.
From this residency was created the show “Little Chinese tales revised and corrected by negroes”.
In total, more than thirty people took part of the residence. There is the core team of the Royal de Luxe company: twenty people, including six African actors and musicians. To this team are added six Chinese artists (actors and musicians) as well as four artistic collaborators from the Royal.
Tales writing and theatrical staging, stories, music, songs, special effects… As we went along the building work and the preparation, the company played before the public of villages and towns of Shaanxi, played outside and for free as it is always the case with Royal de Luxe.
